EHS Training is offered via the MIT Learning Center. Please use supported browsers with current MIT Personal Certificates and the MIT Certificate Authority.
Note: You will not be able to access the MIT Learning Center with Chrome.

MIT LEARNING CENTERLEARNERS

Getting started with EHS training requirements on MIT Learning Center (for Lab Members, Lab UROPs, and Others to take the EHS Training Needs) [For Technical Assistance and Help...]

  1. See your EHS Rep about your lab's training requirements  
  2. Get certificates (see Supported Browsers)
  3. Go to MIT Learning Center Website - My Profile Tab
  4. Go to EHS Training Needs Tab and select your PI(s) (required except for Lincoln Lab)
  5. Select your activities as indicated by your EHS Rep, save and close
  6. To view and complete your required training go to My Training
  7. To access web-based training you need to turn off pop-up blockers in your browser, and install the following plugins if you don't have them:

    Flash Player 10+
    (http://kb.mit.edu/confluence/x/DowBCQ)

    Java 1.6 +
    (http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp)

  8. If connecting wirelessly you must use MIT SECURE or MIT SECURE N instead of the regular MIT or MIT N wireless network. (for help with wireless connection)
  9. NOTE: the format for some questions in the online quizzes are drag-and-drop the correct answer into the empty box

STUDENTS 

SUPPORTED BROWSERS

If you are using a browser which is not supported on the MIT Learning Center, or if you need to update your browser to one that's currently supported by MIT, select one of the following links and follow the instructions for upgrading. Safari 5 currently works for Macs but the preferred browser for Macs is Firefox. Pop-up Blockers need to be disabled to access web courses.

Remember, when you have completed the upgrade, you must get new MIT certificates.
